General Procedure for Applying 
1.   The applications for M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering as well as Electrical Engineering are based on GATE score. The admissions shall be made through Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). All interested and eligible candidates are required to register on COAP. After successful registration in COAP, the candidate has to submit the online application in the M.Tech. application portal of IIT Dharwad. The candidates can access the results in COAP as per time window given in COAP. 
 

2.   The candidates who have B.Tech or equivalent degree from IITs or BS degree from IISc with Minimum CPI/CGPA of 8.0 can submit the application directly.
